RBJRJ PHOTO RESCUE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how RBJRJ Photo Rescue handles information.

1. LOCAL RECOVERY SOFTWARE
RBJRJ Photo Rescue is designed to run locally on the user's computer. The software scans local drives, USB devices, SD cards, folders, and disk images selected by the user.

The software does not upload recovered files, scan results, file previews, disk contents, documents, photos, videos, or folder contents to RBJRJ Photo Rescue or any remote server.

2. NO BUILT-IN TELEMETRY
The current Windows version does not include built-in telemetry, analytics tracking, background reporting, advertising trackers, or automatic cloud synchronization.

3. LICENSE ACTIVATION INFORMATION
To activate a paid license, the user may choose to send support the Machine ID displayed inside the software, plus purchase contact details such as name and email address.

This information is used to generate and support a license key for that user's computer. The license key is intended for one computer unless the purchase terms say otherwise.

4. PAYMENT INFORMATION
If payment is handled through a third-party payment provider, that provider may collect and process payment details under its own privacy policy. RBJRJ Photo Rescue should not request or store full credit card numbers directly.

5. SUPPORT INFORMATION
If the user contacts support, the user may choose to provide screenshots, error messages, file names, device details, or other information. Support information is used only to respond to the request, troubleshoot the issue, and protect against fraud or misuse.

Users should not send private files, recovered files, passwords, financial records, medical records, or other sensitive data unless they intentionally choose to share that information for support.

6. DATA RECOVERY RESPONSIBILITY
The user controls which source is scanned and where recovered files are saved. Users should save recovered files to a safe output location that is different from the source being recovered.

7. INFORMATION SHARING
RBJRJ Photo Rescue does not sell the user's personal information. Information may be shared only when required to provide support, process payment through a third-party provider, comply with law, prevent fraud, enforce license terms, or protect legal rights.

8. SECURITY
Reasonable care should be used to protect license records, customer contact details, and support communications. No software or communication method can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

9. CHILDREN
RBJRJ Photo Rescue is not directed to children under 13 years old.

10. CHANGES
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version should be posted with the software or on the official product website.
